If you're new to novel writing, are looking for a fiction refresher course, or simply wish to infuse new life into a sagging novel project, How To Write, Sell, or Self Publish Your Novel is for you! Lecture topics include story structure, plotting methods, in depth characterization, motivation, conflict, tension, using theme and symbolism in commercial fiction, how to write believable dialogue, professional self editing tips, and a thorough discussion of traditional publishing and self-publishing options. Class assignments pertain to each student's project. This is an intensive, hands on course. Be prepared to read your weekly lecture, spend one to two hours writing, and commit to turning in work to instructor for critique and minor editing suggestions.

This is a comprehensive course on craft, creativity, marketing,

promotion, and self-publishing. One lecture and one assignment per week. All assignments pertain to student's work. Includes 12 weekly FREE critiques of 10 double-spaced pages, not to exceed 120 pages total.

Option 1.

Manuscript editing with an objective critique begins at 1.00 per page with a minimum charge of $ 5.00.

Option 2.

Comprehensive content and line editing with an objective critique begins at $2.00 per double spaced typed page. A follow up review and final evaluation of no more than 150 pages is included in this option.

Note that prices for both Option 1 and Option 2 includes return first class or priority postage.

***Available ONLY in Pasadena, Deer Park, LaPorte, South Houston, Clear Lake, Webster, League City, and the South Belt area of Houston, Texas.

Each 3 hour, fun, event-filled, interactive class combines creative writing, reading, art, and drama! Poetry, nonfiction articles, fiction writing, short essays, personal correspondence, daily literacy challenges, skits and arts and crafts make for one very exciting class.

Perfect for schools, daycare, church groups, summer camps, children's organizations, civic and recreation centers and more!

All materials are provided by instructor.
